LAW OF ATHLETE – EVENT TERMS

(Applies to all Law of Athlete events, experiences, activations, and gatherings)

These Event Terms & Liability Waiver (“Terms”) govern your RSVP, entry, and participation in any event, experience, activation, program, or gathering hosted by Law of Athlete, LLC (“Law of Athlete,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By RSVPing, registering, or attending any Law of Athlete event (“Event”), you (“Guest”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not attend the Event.

1. Eligibility & Entry

1.1 Voluntary Participation

Attendance is voluntary. You choose to participate at your own risk.

1.2 Age Requirement

For Events where alcohol is present, you must be 21 or older. Valid government-issued ID may be required for entry.

1.3 Entry is Not Guaranteed

RSVP or registration does not guarantee entry unless otherwise stated in official communications from Law of Athlete. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any guest at our sole discretion, including for safety, security, or behavioral concerns.

2. Filming, Photography & Media Release

By attending the Event, you understand and agree that:

  • You may be filmed, photographed, or recorded.

  • Your image, voice, and likeness may appear in photographs, videos, livestreams, promotional content, or other media produced during or after the Event.

  • You grant Law of Athlete and its partners, sponsors, licensees, and affiliates an irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use your likeness in any and all media, for any purpose, without compensation, approval, or notice.

If you do not wish to be potentially recorded, do not attend the Event.

3. Assumption of Risk

Attendance involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • bodily injury

  • illness (including communicable diseases)

  • accidents or falls

  • property damage or loss

  • crowd-related risks

  • exposure to alcohol use

  • other unforeseen hazards

By attending, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown, even if arising from negligence.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless: Law of Athlete, LLC, its officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, vendors, partners, sponsors, venue hosts, and affiliates (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to:

  • your attendance or participation

  • injuries or illness

  • property damage

  • actions of other guests

  • actions of third-party service providers

  • Event conditions, hazards, or circumstances

This release applies even if caused by negligence of the Released Parties.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any third-party claims arising out of:

  • your conduct

  • your violation of these Terms

  • your actions that cause injury, damage, or disruption

You are responsible for your own behavior and any resulting consequences.

6. Alcohol & Substance Use

If alcohol is present at the Event:

  • you consume voluntarily and at your own risk

  • you are solely responsible for your behavior, decisions, and transportation

  • you agree not to operate a vehicle under the influence

  • Law of Athlete is not liable for alcohol-related incidents or injuries

The Released Parties assume no responsibility for monitoring consumption.

7. Personal Belongings

Law of Athlete is not responsible for:

  • lost items

  • stolen items

  • damaged property

You accept full responsibility for your belongings at all times.

8. Emergency Medical Care

In the event of an accident or emergency:

  • You consent to receive medical care deemed reasonably necessary.

  • You release the Released Parties from any liability arising from such care.

  • You are responsible for any associated costs.

9. Code of Conduct

Guests must conduct themselves in a respectful, responsible manner. Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to:

  • harassment or discrimination

  • threatening or disruptive behavior

  • unsafe behavior or intoxication

  • unauthorized access to restricted areas

  • refusal to comply with staff instructions

Violation of this policy may result in removal without refund.

10. Compliance with Venue Rules

You agree to comply with:

  • all posted venue policies

  • all staff and security instructions

  • all local laws and regulations

Failure to comply may result in removal.

11. No Expectation of Privacy

Events may involve:

  • cameras

  • security screening

  • bag checks

  • livestream capture

  • public posts by other guests

You agree not to hold Law of Athlete liable for the actions of other attendees.

12. Modification or Cancellation

Law of Athlete reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any Event for any reason, including safety, weather, or operational considerations. We are not liable for any costs you incur related to Event changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

14. Acknowledgment & Agreement

By RSVPing, registering, checking in, or attending the Event, you confirm that:

  • you have read and understood these Terms

  • you voluntarily agree to be bound by them

  • you are entering this waiver knowingly and intentionally

If you do not agree, you must not attend the Event.
